    4 November 2010 Following the successful introductory lecture "I Want to Research My Family History – Where Do I Start?", this second lecture in the Family History Lecture Series covered such topics as: how to find a will; the importance of researching newspapers; where to look for your military ancestor; immigration, naturalization and citizenship; and municipal records including assessment rolls, collector rolls and pre-1850 census records.

    13 May 2010 The Pre-Conference Event for the Ontario Genealogical Society Conference was held at Doubletree Hotel. Presented a lecture at the "Libraries and Genealogy: An Ontario Librarians Association Workshop" on May 13th. The lecture topic was entitled "Genealogy 101: The Basic Terminology and Definitions" scheduled from 10:15 am to 11:15 am. This lecture provided terms, definitions and advice to assist librarians with queries relating to genealogical research.
